Khandani Rajdhani to offer royal festive spread of the yore to mark Diwali

To mark the occasion of Diwali, Khandani Rajdhani, the restaurant chain, has plans to offer a spread of festive recipes from the royal palaces of the yore on its menu.

The menu would be available at all its restaurants from November 1 to 5, 2013, according to a press release issued by Khandani Rajdhani.

Known as Diwali Thali, the offerings would include Mattar khasta roll, Surti plaza, Barsa dolla, Hariwali patra, Jodhpuri pakoda, Dakor na gota nu chat and Leelwa kachori amongst others. Sabzis include traditional dishes like Surati undhiyu, Jaisalmer panch kuta, Pithod ki sabzi, Jodhpuri Gatta, Sangri ke kofte, Rabodi hara pyaaz, Tilwale aloo, and Makai mirch jajariya.

Desserts would include Apple jalebi, Tamatar halwa, Akhrot halwa, Doodh pak, Khajur barfi, Dry fruit halwa, Makai jajariya and Sutarseni kheer.

Aji Nair, VP, F&B Division, Mirah Hospitality, said, “Diwali is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in our country and we wanted to create a feast for our guests while they come to Khandani Rajdhani. Our team of corporate maharajs is travelling across all our 37 outlets in 18 cities in India and has carefully handpicked this royal blend of dishes. We’re confident guests will have a great time and remember this meal for a long long time.”
