The Government Railway Police seized 1,200 kilogram of gutka from
Chennai Central Railway station on Wednesday evening. According to
police, the gutka was packed in 22 bags and left on platform number 8.
“It was supposed to be boarded into the Howrah Mail to be delivered to
Vizag,” said a GRP source. The police are searching for the person who
tried to transport the consignment.
